Oh Paul, you know me so much!! I love those vocal edits. Really powerful!!
Jeff
Excellent! Thank you Paul!
Jesus, Paul – it´s always the same. I always thought I knew quite a lot about Eighties music but time and time again you show me that I know nothing 🙂
Never heard of the group or the song. Always great to learn new things. And for that, dearest Paul, I thank you very much.
s´n´d
Yep same here i know nothing ! We’re not worthy ! We’re not worthy !
I had listened to spring session M but had no idea Dale Bozzio had a go on her own. That Simon 12″ that Paul posted a while back is amazing ! It is one of the most dynamic punchy sparkly sounding rips i have ever heard and now use it as a test track.

Going to enjoy this too as i am definately going to check “colour in your life”… cant find a hi-res unfortunately – can’t believe i missed that one.
Also just a heads up to anyone interested, “NoOneIsThere” recently posted a 24/96 of Spring Session M. First time i have seen it in the wild in 24bit. It sounds really good. Look on your favourite russian tracker !
Thank you guys I appreciate you all so much 🙂
Paul can i post links to a torrent ? If you wanna keep things above board i totally understand 😉
Hi Kaex thank you for asking. I would rather you not link to torrent sites. Thanks for understanding 🙂
I love Missing Person’s! Not sure I’ve ever heard this. Looking forward to it. Thanks Paul.
I have never heard this song…Thanks..what a fun song!
When I think of the band Missing Persons, I think of all their radio hits that were never really big club hits other than for Walking In L.A. This gem was an enjoyable dance in the clubs but was one I totally forgot about since it never got any air play that I can remember. Thanks for reviving this one.
You’re welcome DJVeteran 🙂
I get so worked up when I see favorite New Wave bands included on your site Paul. Gosh, what an extensive collection you have. It’s like you have vinyl rabbits that keep on multiplying like crazy. I can’t even begin to try and comprehend what you may and not have. You can honestly say, “I almost have everything!” I just love what happens here with the music I love so much. You rescue so many lost gems. Sometimes, hearing how good they are (the ones I don’t really know about) I wonder if they were released at a different date… Read more »
I appreciate you so much Jeff thanks for always commenting whether you know the artists/song or not. I have said it before it is always fun to find something new 🙂 This record sound a lot like The Power Station to me guess because of the Bernard Edwards production the drums and bass.
Nice track Paul, Warren Cuccurullo is a fantastic guitarist who as well as being in the band Missing Persons was later in Duran Duran, TV Mania and in earlier on with Frank Zappa. I’ve seen him perform many times with Duran Duran, The Wedding album was recorded in Warren’s home in London, and he was the drive of the band in the 90’s. I thought it was “Notorious” that he was excluded from Duran’s later projects. Many Duran fans have stated that Warren had taken over the band with Nick, and with too many egos clashing between Le Bon and… Read more »
Can’t believe it’s been 40 years! I remember my introduction to Duran Duran was a K-Tel compilation album of New wave artists called “Beat It: New Wave Classic” which included “Girls On Film” I played that record until it wore out. Warren was a great addition to the band it would be very cool if they could put ego aside and reunite 🙂
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
