Hi, I just analyzed this file. Sorry but it turns out to be a fake FLAC. This is an MP3.How can it be? I have never encountered this in your files. I’m sorry.
Thanks for bringing that to our attention, Luigi! I would suggest you email Paul because I don’t think he checks the comments/threads on this website after a few hours of a new post. For example, if he posts a song at 1pm (my time), I notice he stops replying to comments after about 4pm. So he likely did not see your post and screenshot. You can use the Contact area of the website. Or, if you are fast enough, you can try Commenting to whatever he posts today asking him to look at this problem. I don’t check his files… Read more »
Not sure I understand this track was edited and encoded just like all of my other tracks I can assure you it is not a fake FLAC. If you need further help or could elaborate more please use the contact form and email me. Thanks
I also sent you a screenshot. The 24-bit file is fake, having a bitrate of 320 kbps. Instead the other is an original FLAC, having a bitrate of 919 kbps. anyway thanks for the work you do. A mistake can happen to anyone.
This post is old so no one will probably read this but this comment might seem strange to many. I think the type of tools you use to detect “fakes” or authentic FLAC files, are designed to detect if the source is a CD (Compact Disc). Since DJ Pauls encodes come from vinyl, and he determines his own bit rate and sample rate, not a music recording studio for mass encoding to compact discs, the detection parameters these tools use don’t really have an implication to this sort of unique encode Paul makes for us. Those tools were designed to… Read more »
Hi, this is the software I use (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Cf5acKmB8U&feature=emb_imp_woyt). I don’t think it’s like you say, but you can realize for yourself. Merry Christmas.
Súper gracias Pault

Hey Paul,
Thanks for sharing. I didn’t have this track in my collection.
🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Thanks, Paul. I’ve never heard this track. I would like to gently ask if you could post the Crush On You 12″ that has the acappella please. 🙂
Have a great day!
Hi Fred, I will be posting it at some point 🙂
Thanks so much, my Bro’ Paul,,GREAT WORK,,,
Thank you 🙂
Very pleased to have another Jets’ single in your wonderful quality Paul. I just love the eclecticism of Burning The Ground. Just thinking how last week it was “Totally Obscure 80’s,” while this is turning out to be a “Pop Week” so far. But maybe not, as one never knows what you may have in store for us Paul. Love it! Love you!!! Love this place so much!!!!
Jeff
Thank you so much, Jeff 🙂
Great addition to the Jets collection. My my, they were / are a VERY productive family. And they made music, too 😉 😉 I´d love to enjoy “Crush On You” in DJ Paul quality, as well. Maybe some day….. I love the long instrumental (dub) version on the flipside. Maybe I´ll make another re-edit at the weekend. Love it, Paul. Thank you. s´n´d
I have that one and will try to post it soon 🙂
… “Crush On You” would be the right Christmas present so please make it possible in “DJ Paul quality”
Wäre mal toll was von Adventures oder ZZ Top zu lesen 🙂
Given the title, this song wants so much to be paired with Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “You Do Me”.
