Burning The Ground Exclusive 1986
“One More Shot” was the third single taken fom the debut album “On The Beam” by British pop act Space Monkey. Written in 1981 but released in 1985 “One More Shot” peaked at #39 on the US Billboard Dance Chart. The US 12″ was remixed by Mark Kamins with edits by The Latin Rascals.
Space Monkey was led by the singer–songwriter guitarist Paul Goodchild who passed away in October, 2020.

You have to get it. On Ebay you´ll find the LP at affordable prices. Unfortunately there is no official CD except a bootleg (with 2 bonus tracks) that claims to be of Spanish origin, but it is expensive and hard to find.

I immediately thought about “One More Shot” by C-Bank, the awesome Electro record produced by John Robie, until I saw that this was Space Monkey, which is a very great thing. Thanks so much Paul for pulling this one out. I just love the fact that it was remixed by Mark Kamins and the Latin Rascals. Mark and the Rascals did some excellent remixes during the ’80s. Love that Mr. Kamins was responsible for Madonna’s first record too. It’s so sad he has passed away.
