Paul, Thanks for the Robey! I had this 12″ along with others of hers (album + Hungry For You / Be My Baby + Moth To A Flame and I Surrender) and lost this along the way, it’s great to get it back in lossless. I would have bought her anthology 10 years ago if she released it as a CD or lossless, it’s only available MP3. Thanks again!

Some things are so bad, they’re good. lol
I loved Robey back then & it took a few years to find the album & I only played it once.
I’m glad I have it though. This song was used in the episode “Badge Of Honor”
Thanks for the share!!!

Oooooooooh that bass line. Jeeeeez. Never heard that song and I started with the dub mix. Love it. As Jeff already asked, where the heck do you find those rare gems?! The start of the dub mix reminds me of “I´m With Stupid” by the Pet Shop Boys which of course was released much much later. It´s faster here but still…. Maybe there was some inspiration 🙂
And again, it´s a Shep Pettibone production I haven´t been aware of. I adore his work.
So, again and again, hats off to you, Paul.

Where do you get these awesome records Paul!! I love Robey for her work in “Friday the 13th (The Series)” and her “One Night In Bangkok”, but had no idea about this song. Cool that Shep Pettibone mixed this as well. I love the more obscure/forgotten stuff of favorite remixers. Just awesome Paul. You really know how to cover all bases of 80’s music. The kitschy and the “Klassic” are my faves. Thank you Paul for pulling out all-the-stops in your presentation of the 1980’s and early 1990’s musical features.

I do like it a lot Paul and I’m so glad you introduced it to me. You’re right, she isn’t the best singer, but fine for this dance confection. And I’m so glad you mentioned Alisha. I love her so very much. And thanks again for ripping so much of her catalog on your website. You’re a godsend in every way!!
