Happy New Year Paul! Thanks for this post – love Red Flag’s early material. As -1 mentioned above, Pylon Records is reissuing “Naive Art” as an expanded 2CD edition, which includes most of “Naive Dance” as well:

A rep at the label confirmed that the release has been pushed back to March.

hi paul, happy new year, and great to see some of these titles coming off to start the year with a bang. i like red flag, and have all their singles, and most of the promos too. there is a deluxe edition of naive art coming out later this year, but i don’t know if there is anything new on it, maybe some tracks on cd. i really like ‘if i ever’, and am pretty tired of ‘russian radio’, although thats what got them their start. it’s an ok song, but i like this song better. they are one of… Read more »

Hi Paul I was looking to purchase Novation AudioHub 2X4 Recording Interface does $199.00 sound like the right price. Checked Amazon and other sites and they are all out of stock. I found one place with the $199 price tag is that about what you paid. Not sure if they jacked up the price.

You got me there, Paul (and Jeff 🙂 ). Never heard of Red Flag, at least not to my active knowledge. I´ve just learned an Wiki that Mark Reynolds killed himself in 2003. That´s really sad. I like If I Ever very much, I must say. Just listening to the great dub mix, the dance mix will follow.

Thank you for enlightening me, Paul. Again 🙂 Looking forward to more from Red Flag.

Thanks Paul. I like the song and the Razormaid mixes are awesome. I discovered Red Flag in 2016 when you posted their single Russian radio. Have a great weekend.

The band Red Flag and their debut album, “Naïve Art” is one of my ultimate favorite compact discs in my collection. I first heard of them through the Razormaid! remix service and Joseph and Art really did a phenomenal job producing their first LP. Razormaid! always strived for perfection with their mixes, from sound quality to artistic representation and I owe them such a debt of gratitude for introducing me to so many of my beloved artists. I loved each single culled from this album and Paul, I am eternally grateful that you are preserving their 12-inch singles. I am… Read more »

Almost forgot to mention that Information Society’s Paul Robb produced most of the album with input from Joseph and Art. All these great individuals added up to a phenomenal record!
