Wow never knew these mixes existed – what a fantastic treat!! It’s hard enough to track down the UK remixes too (any chance you have these too)? Loved this single when it was released, but remember it didn’t do very well – think the UK version was a little more ‘Rock’

Who’s that Girl? Might it be Neneh Cherrie’s sister there, dancing next to one of Madonna’s from 1987? I’m sorry, could not resist – I looked them up, because of the blanc sleeve, saw a video.. Don’t remember this one song from those days, but I sure do remember those fashions 🙂 (Having said that – I am so glad there weren’t cellphones back then to record my own hairstyles and ‘unique’ sense of dressing..) That’s a cool post Paul, I only remember their “Heartache” single in 1986, and Wham.
Shirlie Holliman married Spandau Ballet’s Bass player and “The Krays” Actor Martin Kemp.
In 2000 the Duo recorded backing vocals on Geri Halliwell hit Bag It Up (UK number one).
Pepsi & Shirlie performed at the Here and Now 10th Anniversary tour 2011.

Thank you!! These mixes are so hard to find. I stumbled across this 12″ back when it was first released, bought it for maybe $1, got home and found out it was warped so bad it couldn’t be played. Seriously, it looks like someone attacked it with a curling iron! I’ve never seen a copy of it since, nor have I ever found it online to download or purchase.
