“He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not” is a 1984 single by American actress and television director Kim Fields. She is known for her roles as Tootie Ramsey on the NBC sitcom The Facts of Life, and as Regine Hunter on the Fox sitcom Living Single.

During the run of Facts of Life, 14 year old Fields released a one off single on the Critique Records label: the disco/Hi-NRG “He Loves Me He Loves Me Not” which became a minor club hit peaking at #30 on the US Billboard Dance Chart.

The b-side “Dear Michael” is a tribute to pop icon Michael Jackson which also peaked at #55 on the U.S. R&B chart.

Another great song which is totally new to me. I loved the Hi-NRG genre in the eighties. The remix sounds also great. Thank you Paul for the fantastic rips during this week. Have a great weekend.

You’ve certainly piqued my interest here, Paul. Growing up, I was a huge fan (still am) of “The Facts of Life” television show. I also remember that Miss Fields did a record or two along the way. Even, back four years or so, when I discovered your amazing website, I saw it listed but it was a dead link.
