Thanks so much for this upload, and I appreciate your site, Paul! (music lover since as long as I can remember here)
I saw the music video recently on a retro music video channel. Cool to see Jellybean mixed this single.
Cheers Paul 🙂
Cheers Mark 🙂
Your blog is such a pleasure, especially in these strange, strange Trumpian days… thanks so much for sharing rare treats like this, DJPaul!
lol, I agree with the strange Trumpian days man I never know what kind of madness we are going to be thrown into from day to day. Music is a great escape from it all. 🙂
That’s another great week of awesome rips. Love this one too. It’s also good to get the Jellybean Instrumental Mix by the way. “Do what you do” is my favourite single by Jermaine. Thank you so much Paul for doing what you do.
“Do What Tou Do” is one of my favorites too Daniel 🙂
Love this track! Jellybean as usually deliver a nice clean remix. I have this remix but not in clear conditions. What i could not find is the extended of Tell me i’m not dreaming, maybe was never release.
Thanks for this one Paul as always you bring memories with music.
Thanks
You’re welcome Fermix. You are correct there is not a 12″ mix for Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’ 🙂
So Cool!!! So happy for a great rip, I’m so happy !!!! Paul I have a request you could post –
Jermaine Jackson -12″ Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’ (Too Good To Be True)— please I love it.
Very grateful for the incredible music that you publish.
THANKS!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!
You’re welcome, Rafael. I checked and there doesn’t seem to be a 12″ mix for Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’ (Too Good To Be True). 🙂
Hi Paul, according to Discogs if they exist and there are several editions, here is the link:

I saw those Rafael but it looks like they are prom’s with the 4:26 LP version.
Good song, better video. I wish they still made videos like that. Hilarious! Thanks as always sir.
You’re welcome Mothloop 🙂
Better video: his Do What You Do song. Great video and includes supermodel Iman!

Thank you, Paul!
This is his debut on BTG as a solo artist. 🙂
Hope that someday in the future we will hear here..
Jermaine Jackson & Pia Zadora – When The Rain Begins To Fall (Extended Version)
You’re welcome, Denis. I think I posted “(Closest Thing To) Perfect (US 12″)” a long time ago but it’s no longer on the site I am planning to give it a new transfer and I also have the Jermaine & Pia 12″ too 🙂
Thanks for the great rip, Paul! Very nice to have the instrumental. I love the guitar solo at 5:27! I purchased his Remastered album last year and returned it…the sound quality was terrible for the Do What You Do tracks. I’ve always laughed that Jermaine’s pose on this 12″ is just like Bernie Casey playing the role of UN Jefferson in the movie Revenge of the Nerds. Same year as this 12″, too. Hmmmmmm. I thought there was a clip of him wearing the same sweater as Jermaine but I guess it’s his friends instead that I am thinking of.… Read more »
I bought the remaster on Funky Town Grooves label too and can confirm it’s a terrible remaster. I love how you are soo observant Fred thanks for giving me a laugh 🙂
Thanks for this great 12 inch with the bonus instrumentals. Very appreciated!
You’re welcome Stefano 🙂
The big kick coming here Paul is when I get a song curtesy of you that has escaped my memories. Hence this track. I’ve always adored this song and I can’t wait to hear this remix of it. Wow. Just thanks a million for this surprise. I hadn’t thought about this record in ages, but it is just the greatest thing. Awesome.
Jeff
Enjoy! Jeff 🙂
