Thanks Paul. I always loved the songs of Hubert Kah. This is one of his best songs. He was very successful in Germany, especially in the early eighties during the period of the popular “Neue Deutsche Welle”.
Hi DjPaulT. I don’t really know this track that well although I have heard it before (along with “The Picture”) but can’t really recall either of them. The only track I know well (and love) from Hubert Kah is “Machine Gun”. I still have that 12″ and back then played it all the time. Thanks for sharing and expanding my musical horizons 🙂

Oh wow. One of the BEST German Synthpoppers of the 80’s! Too many think of Alphaville as “the” post-Kraftwerk German synthpop band then, but Hubert KaH, Camouflage, Cetu Javu, Celebrate The Nun, Deine Lakainen, Peter Schilling, Peter Godwin, and more really deserve a lot of the credit for carrying on the synth tradition while the UK got all the attention with their bands. “So Many People” is their biggest hit of course, but they really came to the fore with “Goldene Zeiten”, and with “The Picture” in the US for the Jim Carrey Once Bitten soundtrack.
