“Curiosity” was the first single released by the Jets from their critically and commercially successful debut album The Jets. This was a successful single on the R&B chart in the U.S., peaking at #8. In the U.K. the single reached #41.

In the U.K this 12″ was released containing two exclusive European only remixes of “Curiosity” remixed by Phil Harding and “Crush On You” which was a top five hit in the U.S. (#3) and U.K.(#5) remixed by Paul Dakeyne. “Burn The Candle” is a non album track.

Thanks for posting this special 12 inch paul, hope you can post their ballads 12inch too not just these dance tracks. And btw do you have a good copy of Wham’s Last Christmas instrumental?

Wow! This is definitely one of more rare 80’s gems you’ve shared with us. Both mixes I have not heard till now and I just simply love, love it! One of the reissue wishes is to have their albums reissued with previously released singles and rare mixes, like this one, in it.

I remember hearing this in the 80’s, the vibe of the song reminded me of Five Star and that rhythm guitar had a funky Janet Jackson feel to it. Great post Paul, I was wondering do you have Duran Duran’s All She Wants Is (Eurohouse Dub II) there was actually quite a few mixes of this song, but this one is rare.
