Wow Paul what a fantastic week going on! Thanks a lot. I love Gino Vannelli and this single is taken from one of my very favourite LP “Big dreamers never sleep”. There are so much beautiful songs on it. I’m still thrilled by the ballad “Something tells me”. I wonder if you also have the remix of “Persona non grata”. The german release which I own also contains an extended remix of “In the name of money”.
Paul, I’m in worship mode once again!! You can certainly pick tunes that impact me physically, emotionally and spiritually!! I am under this record’s spell all because of you. Another one, to be exact 🙂 I am not so much into Gino´s seventies stuff but I LOVE LOVE LOVE “Wild horses”. “Black Cars” was a much bigger hit over here but “Wild Horses” was so much mature. Relaxed, cool, swinging and still it always makes me melancholic when I listen to it. I have the twelve inch with a different sleeve (mostly white with a much smaller version of the photo in the bottom right corner) but the versions are identical.
