Hi Paul, very rare this track, the sound is clearly Baker and Lord-Alge, thanks.

Super excited to see this Arthur Baker gem on BTG. The dub is incredible as I recall upon hearing AB playing it on a mix show back in the late 80’s.

Thanks Paul 🙂

I almost can’t believe what I’m seeing!!! Oh My, Oh My Paul!!! Damn, you surely deliver the goosebumps!! One of my favorite records of all time is on your site!!! This record is a BEAST!!! The percussion alone, the delivery, those tasty Latin Rascal Edits!! I am throbbing with joy!!! Arthur Baker as a producer was so prolific in the 80’s giving us aggressive and tremendous records. Man, this is a treat that I’m panting over. And we’re so lucky to get the dub as well!! As I’ve said on numerous occasions, so many compilations leave off the dub mixes.… Read more »

You know me so well Paul!! I mean, this record sizzles! I can imagine your stylus burning white hot while you were ripping it! I love this band a lot and to have two of their most famous twelves on Burning The Ground is such a Godsend. And I love Laurie Sargent on vocals. Her stunning pipes are showcased on some of “Streets Of Fire” soundtrack: “Nowhere Fast” and “Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young.” Produced by the legendary Jim Steinman, these track have that High Octane sound Jim is famous for. Man Paul, this “Under The Gun”… Read more »
