Paul,

Thank you…thank you…thank you! All of the DG posts this week are much appreciated. I own a few of these on vinyl, as I used to buy A LOT of 12″ singles back in the day, but never got around to ripping them. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Thanks Paul, this one is underrated among Debbie’s Out of the Blue singles – great track and excellent mixes. Again, you knocked it out of the park with the rip. THANK YOU!

Thanks again, Paul!! Geee, Cliviles and Cole…never heard of those guys before…it’s only 1987 but maybe someday they will be famous. 😉 Kinda like when that veteran Shep Pettibone teamed up with the new guy, Junior Vasquez on Janet Jackson’s State Of The World remixes. 🙂 But I really remember Junior bursting onto my radar with MC Hammer’s Pray remixes.

Have fun, all! I’m looking forward to the next 6 weeks of Debbie posts! 😉

Boy, did Debbie Gibson have fantastic people work on her singles!! So excited to have Chep Nunez and Clivilles and Cole contribute to her releases. I’m so enjoying these singles Paul, especially with the care that you’re presenting them in. Plus you’re preserving the work that a lot of these guys don’t get credit for; EVEN ON DISCOGS!! You are a Hero to those who developed great skills in the 1980’s!!

Paul, you were so right. I love that dub version!! The beats really fly and the sampler goes off!! It’s got great drive and cool effects. I wasn’t familiar with this song by Debbie and I’m thankful for the introduction from you. And again, such quality you render these mixes in. Even when I download in MP3, the sound is so marvelous. And of course, when you give us the FLAC downloads, I mean……..SCHWING!!!! Instant erection and climax because it is in lossless format. I repeat myself endlessly over your attention to quality and detail, but the “art” you do… Read more »

I was always disappointed that the UK 12” listed the a-side as ‘Remix’ but it actually played the LP Version.I didn’t find out until years later that an actual 12” Remix was done.

Funny, my copy of the UK 12″ has this remix on the A side. Guess some rogue pressings must have been made with the wrong mix. Great remix anyway!

Thank you, Paul. This is one I have never heard before. I may prefer the remix to the original, and the Dub has epic stereo distribution between the right and left.
