*PRINCE ASSOCIATION* Dale met Prince at his club to get signed to the PP label ..he told her to write 3 songs for him and the rest is history. Dale recorded at PP studios and Prince also wrote ‘So Strong’ for her and performed all instruments on the song as well.

Hey Paul, So wanted to comment again on this great track. Thanks a million for giving us the 12-inch. I think it is so much fun. It’s become one of my new favorite classic songs thanks to you!! You are so incredible with your generosity and I LOVE how you not only give us the well known records we crave, but the unknown ones too. You constantly expand our musical horizons and are the champion for records and artists that may never be considered for dance music compilations. What you do is a godsend. You are a Deity in your… Read more »

Don’t think this made it very far into British shores, don’t remember it at all. Curious to hear Dale.

BTW, went out at the weekend and ended up doing an amazing dance to Buffalo Stance by Neneh Cherry – was expecting to find her on BTG but nada – was she not that big in the US? Just checking you know the track coz it’s ace! There’s a bit of a SAW backstory to that particular song too, I’ve just discovered.

I haven’t thought about Dale in such a long time. Paul, I love how you pull out releases that make us search our memories. I think I remember this one, but I’m really jazzed to hear the 12-inch version. Thanks for another excellent cool song to start off the work week. You are so wonderful in all the work you do.

Bravo!

Jeff
