WPOW Miami played this one occasionally in the late 80s, and occasionally WFLZ Tampa would play it in their mixshows in the early 90s…that’s how I got exposed to this classic. Thanks for sharing.

I concur with what some have mentioned about your sense of humor but I also think that it’s a perfect post for what’s been happening today, and maybe for the next couple of days. Another great one to add to this would be ‘Russian Radio’ which I know you’ve already shared with us.

Wish there was a 80s song that talks about treason.

Do all of you know what all of us really can be proud of? To wake up, see the news every day and not despair. To carry on and fight day by day by day. Unemployment, hunger, refugees, lunatics on either side of the Atlantic, climate change, money as our only God. I am not religious in the least little bit but hang on guys: we shall overcome.
Sorry for being a downer today. Had to get it off my chest.
Celebrate life!

thanks paul,

i remember hearing this in clubs, back when industrial,
and techno were starting to become a trend.

this was an ok song, and back then there were a lot
of singles from groups, that didn’t have albums, o
only had remixes.

i remember a group called the weather, with ‘let them come to berlin’,
and others like MCL (micro chip league), voyou, t42.

thanks for the reminder of these times.

This was an instant earworm for me Paul when it was first released. And I was such a fan of Cameron Paul from the Hot Tracks remix service that I just knew his mix would really rock. No wonder he moved on from Hot Tracks to form his own service, called Mixx-It. I so loved the drum machine programming on this track. Very interesting sounding. Excellent post for today and all; absolutely brilliant!!

Sadly, I just read that Cameron Paul passed away early this year. I feel really, really awful reading this news. Mr. Paul was a great talent.
