HI, PLEASE YOU CAN POST THE 12 ” SINGLE OF XYMOX IMAGINATION…PLEASE
Fantastic! I don’t have any Xymox singles and they are really good. Been listening to pretty awful copies over the years. This is amazing! Thanks!
I don’t know this one Paul, but it’s another that’s def got that John Hughes Teen Angst Movie Soundtrack feel to it. 🙂
🙂
I’m not a fan of xymox, and these releases. I prefer the clan of xymox which was much more goth and darkwave. I realize that people found out about them during the twist of shadows days, and singles which were much more pop and featured the woman as a vocalist, but to each their own. i prefer their first two albums compared to everything else. xymox is still around, and does a lot more goth sounding and darkwave industrial music. if you like that, check out the recent releases. its always good to educate listeners to a band. keep it… Read more »
I have this on vinyl. Love this song and this band. Also the album “Clan Of Xymox” is excellent. One of my favorites, also “Medusa”. Thanks Paul!
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
Anything that I say will not be enough to thank you for the amazing 12” you have posted. It’s been on my wishlist for decades and finally, I can have it thanks to you. Paul, sometimes I think you’re a kind of angel who is here to give some joy to the fans of good music. I wish you the best, my friend. Finally (just in case), I can not help but wonder about the other rarity of Xymox that I could never find: Imagination (Dance Mix) (6:35) https://www.discogs.com/Xymox-Imagination/master/30354
You’re very welcome Walter C. I am pretty sure I have “Imagination” like I mentioned above to Robert I will double check 🙂
There are 2 versions of the dance mix. One on the US 12″ and a
slightly different shorter one on the german 12″. I haven’t
checked the difference yet.

A Imagination (Dance Mix) 6:18
What a great post! It’s a perfect start in this new week. I knew about this band but this song is new to me. I love it and the remix is awesome. I can really get obsessed of it. This song also reminds me of Endgame’s “Desire”. Thanks Paul.
You’re very welcome Daniel 🙂
OK, Paul. You just made me excalim “OH!” REALLY loudly at work. 🙂 This XYMOX rip is a serious find! The Wing records Twist of Shadows 12″ singles only made it to rather obscure German CDs (I’ve never seen one.) Back then, I made a Xymox Rarities comp with my own vinyl transfers to cassette.
I enthusiastically welcome this and the other two, Imagination and Blind Hearts (US AND German Wing Versions) if you can lay hands on them! The German Blind Hearts features the b-side Senses Coalesce which is lovely.
THANK YOU!
~robert
You’re welcome, Robert. Pretty sure I have the U.S. 12″ of “Imagination” but I will have to double check 🙂
Dear Paul, Wow, what a song to come back to! As you know, I’m just getting back to life and all after a bad case of the flue. I’ve been so out-of-it and I’m terribly sorry I missed last week’s New Romantic Showcase. I’m looking forward to playing catch-up, especially with the Soft Cell release. Soft Cell are my band! But hey, this is such a gift. It’s been years since I’ve heard this twelve and I am besides myself with happiness. I just love this alternative dance stuff. I’m really extremely EXCITED!!! Music does heal and I’m ready for… Read more »
Welcome back, Jeff! So happy you are feeling better the flu has been pretty nasty this season. Have fun catching up 🙂
