“Hypnotize Me” is a single by Wang Chung. The song was on their 1986 album, Mosaic. The single reached #36 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and also #13 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks.

The song was also featured on the soundtrack to the movie Innerspace.

The single’s b-side, “Lullaby”, was originally on the soundtrack to the film To Live and Die in L.A., which was recorded by Wang Chung.

Thank you so much Paul as Hypnotize Me was one my favourite pop songs when I was in high school back in the late 80s and brought bac, some good memories. You def brought a smile to my face today. To get this song in 24bit FLAC, i’m over the moon. 🙂

I don’t know much about Wang Chung, except for their soundtrack release of “To Live And Die In LA.” That’s what initially caught my eye anyway, was the B-side track, “Lullaby.” I absolutely LOVE that film! It’s so multi-layered and full of deception at every turn. With maybe the lonely exception or 2, the main characters are all thoroughly corrupted & venal. Games within games. I have both the film and soundtrack. Wang Chung’s soundtrack puts that film over the top, imo. I have to give you so much respect, kudos and gratitude to you dear Paul for giving us fans beautifully rendered digital versions of analog 12-inch singles. Especially stuff that has been ignored for long periods of time. I have been waiting patiently for remasters by this band for years now. Someone in the Industry has teased and promised that remasters by Wang Chung would be coming, but he’s fallen back on his word.
