Thanks a lot Paul for this great Wang Chung post. This 12″ Remix is brilliant. Such a shame that it has never been released officially on CD or other lossless format. But once again we have you Paul comming to our rescue and gifting us with this crystal clean rip. Have a great weekend.

hi paul, great choice again, i know wang chung is underrated except for a few hits that everyone has heard. their first album is really quite the classic, and so far, it has never been remastered or re-released as deluxe edition. which is too bad, as it has a lot of classic tracks on it. the american releases of the singles were all quite cut off and missing all the great b-sides, they joined dance hall days, and don’t let go together, and then they joined wait, and don’t be my enemy together. all the b-sides were missing, and on… Read more »

The B-Side of “Dance Hall Days” the US original 7″ single was “There is A Nation”…it was re-released several months later as a double “A” side single with “Don’t Let Go” (along with a 12″ with both remixes). “Don’t Let Go” was actually the first single released in the US (from “Points on a Curve”) and the b-side was also “There Is A Nation”. The B-side to the US single of “Don’t Be My Enemy” was “The Waves”. The remix of “Wait” only appears on the US 12″ Single of “Don’t Be My Enemy” as “Wait” wasn’t, sadly, released as… Read more »

To me, this is a different version of the group. I consider the name change
to be significant.

If they had kept the same name, and changed members, then I would agree.
It’s not like underworld, or ultravox or genesis.

Seriously, besides Karen and Eclipse, you Paul are the best thing in my life!!! You know, ever since I discovered your site and saw Wang Chung appear in your discography, I have been holding my breath to hopefully, one day, see this song here. And that day has finally arrived!! This has got to be my all time favorite Wang Chung song!! I remember seeing the video and being mesmerized by the visuals and the sound of the song. I never heard the 12-inch until a couple of years ago on YouTube, but it wasn’t the best presentation, not like… Read more »
