The best song!
Killer track thanks mate, damn spell check
Kills track!, thanks for posting mat
Do you have cheps edit of erotic exotic-L.o.V.e?, I would love to hear it as someone commented on discogd ‘insanity inducing edits’ & I’m intrigued…
Excellent release to pay homage to a great Freestyle group. The fact that it’s been 30+ years already since the groups inception is a true testament to the strength that Freestyle Lives On!

Hats off to you again Paul for posting this TKA single. I really loved the Latin Hip Hop/Electro genre, but only very high quality releases. Acts got lazy and the production values stymied. Fred mentions Lil Suzi above, and I remember when that song came out, I thought it was awful. Everything seemed to have that “Planet Rock” styled beats and there are so many wan vocalists. Give me high end productions by Currier and Sanchez (Sweet Sensation, Black Britain), Arthur Baker/John Robie (Tina B./C-Bank); Tony Moran and Albert Cabrera (Concept of One, Cover Girls) and Chris Barbosa (Gerorge Lamond… Read more »
Thanks Paul. TKA are the original Kings of Freestlye. Especially these early singles with Aby on most lead vocals. Their debut single One Way Love was a monster club hit and helped really get the Latin freestyle movement rolling. I second the Cover Girls request! The Cover Girls, Tina b (married to Arthur Baker and backup singer for Madonna),Lisa-Lisa/Cult Jam and Sweet Sensation all very instrumental in moving the genre into the mainstream. And of course Shannon, Nayobe and X-posed (Lewis Martinee) were early pioneers of the latin/hip-hop/electro sound to become known as Freestyle. There is tons out there just… Read more »
I Love It
Thanks for this release please set post COVER GIRLS SHOW ME and STEVIE B, maybe more Frestyle, thanks DJ, GOD bless you
Thanks Paul! Very nice post, I love this group. This is the real TKA! Thanks!
You’re welcome Marcello Miranda 🙂
So much creativity went into this record, what a thrill it is to hear it in 24bit too.
Cheers Paul 🙂
You should hear it in 25bit! It’s a bit better. 🙂
lol
The first beat is exactly like Lil Suzy’s Take Me In Your Arms…I actually thought I played the wrong song! The following 15 beats are very similar in structure, too. TKA was 4 years earlier…but my memory does tell me that a lot of the freestyle music sounded similar as far as instrumentation.
I never knew of this song…first time I heard of TKA was early 90s with Maria.
Some nice credits, too!…Mac, Latin Rascals, and Chep! His edits on What’s On Your Mind (Pure Energy) (What’s On Your Dub Mix) were awesome! He did a lot of great editing in the late 80s. He did some work on The Cover Girls’ Because Of You (the Done Properly Dub) but I haven’t heard it in decades and somehow that song has not been ripped by Paul yet (hint, hint) 🙂

Thanks again for the great rip today, Paul!
Fred, I thought of you the entire time I was working on this record. I knew it was something you would enjoy. Hint taken my friend I will see what I can do.
THANK YOU TONS PAUL!!! TKA is probably my very favorite Freestyle boy band. They set the benchmark really high with their records. And probably because of who was behind their records, like Joey Gardner, The Latin Rascals, and McQuale who has gone on to do excellent soundtrack work. Very few Latin Hip Hop acts could surpass TKA. Oh man, this is a revelation to me Paul. I have all their twelves so I am thrilled to have you do one of their songs. I believe it will be fierce!! Oh, and there’s edits by Chep too here. I am really… Read more »
You have such great taste in music Jeff. You know what is hot! I never really got into freestyle and this is the only TKA record I own. I always loved it 🙂
