Thanks for this and for everything you do, DJPaul!
I didn’t even know this mix, by one of my favorite 80s bands, even existed! Big, big thanks for this, Paul.
You’re welcome, Mike 🙂

Nice rarity here. Been wanting this German 12″ for a while. Thank you for choosing to do this one Paul! Agree with another poster, The Fixx are such a great band that just never seemed to quite achieve as much notoriety of some of their contemporaries. I think perhaps their label did not prioritize them enough during the 80s. Nonetheless to this day the classic line-up is still pumping out terrific live performances with a deep catalog of great music.
You’re welcome, Thomas 🙂
Thank you, Paul. They first caught my attention with the remix for “Less Cities, More Moving People“, which I think was also remixed by Rupert Hine. It’s always puzzling to me why some great bands don’t get as much attention as others, even though – like in the case of FIXX – the formula seems right for the time. Great hooks, perfect mix of Synthpop/New Wave/AOR, great remixes! Should have appealed to fans of Real Life, Eurythmics, etc.I’m glad that you always focus on GOOD music!
Thanks so much, Martika. I hope you enjoy this one 🙂
Wow, completely new to my ears! Secret Separation is one of their coolest singles ever, so looking forward to these mixes from the same album. Thank you Paul!! You never cease to amaze us.
You’re welcome, Retro Hound 🙂
Amazing! Love them! It’s so tragic much of their catalog is OOP and not even streaming!!! Thanks!
You’re welcome, ING 🙂
GREAT tune! The Fixx is a much under-appreciated band.
Any chance of a re-up of Secret Separation?
Many thanks, Paul!
You’re welcome, I will see what I can do.
I’m a big Fixx fan and have looked for this mix for years. Thank you Paul!
You’re welcome, Music collector 🙂
Love me some Fixx! I don’t think they get as much love as they deserve. Great tunes. Thanks as always Paul!
You’re welcome, Mikey D 🙂
