Fantastic, thank you Paul! Very much!

High Fashion was remixed and ready to go as a single also but never was released. I believe St. Paul offered a taste, was incredible.

Full Family album with Prince on lead vocals exists also. These are but small purple factoids.

I’d really welcome your vinyl rip take on the WHOLE Family album also!

You have Madhouse? Jill Jones? Mazarati? The Time? 12 inch singles?

Such a great single. I didn’t realize it charted so low on the pop charts because, at the time, I remember hearing it quite a lot.

Oh em Gee!! I remember this now.. after looking it up and seeing the video. This brought so much good memories. I also remember watching this and thinking at that time.. they sure make wearing pajamas in a video so cool. 😀

Thank you for this share DJ PaulT. 🙂

Thank you Paul for this rip. When I hear this song I think of “When doves cry”. It has a similar beat. It’s great to get it in perfect sound.

Thanks so much for doing this one Paul:) Wonderful to have this in 24 bit perfection! A little history for anyone interested and not familiar. This band formed in the ashes of the split-up of The Time. Following the departure a year earlier of former band mates and (now) super producers – Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis, in ’84 Morris Day and Jesse Johnson decided to go their separate ways and Prince formed The Family with some of the remaining pieces of that side project. (Jesse Johnson formed Jesse Johnson’s Revue with 2 other former Time members). Prince wanted a female co-lead… Read more »

What a great education of Prince’s prolific-ness you’re offering Paul. The man did so much and it’s great that you’re exposing us to so much of his body of work. I do remember this band but not sure of the song. I already love the name of the song, so I’m expecting to sing along with it (so great lyrics are presented too!). Oh and Paul, another reason I flip over your site is the many new discoveries I make. Thank you and your readers for letting me know about the Age of Chance’s version of “Kiss” as I think… Read more »
