What a delightful surprise! I didn’t know either of these tracks existed in remixed versions. Thanks for making my Monday a bit more happy.
Thanks Paul.
Oh, wow, The Bongos! I never knew there was a remix of “Numbers with Wings,” so very excited to hear this. Thank you!
You’re welcome Dean 🙂
Crack…..HOME RUN!!! And the crowd goes wild.
Thank you RollingStoner 🙂
THAT’S IT!!! Oh my goodness Paul!! I do know this one! Well, actually the B-side, “Barbarella” which I used to hear all the time on a New Wave radio station out of Philadelphia back in the day. Oh wow, the memories rushed back. Even to this day, I still sing the chorus of this track, but had forgotten who sang it in the first place. Thank you Paul for this memory release. Thank you Jeff from what I hear they were played a lot on stations like KROQ but just never caught on with the main stream. Glad to hear you likjw it 🙂
Im not that familiar with The Bongos, but I like this track!!
How was CC? I saw them last year @ The Greek. What was your favorite new song?
CC was great they sounded really good. I really enjoyed “More Than Silence”.
Ha! I was just about to digitize this one. Thank You!
You’re welcome Rich 🙂
You always somehow manage to bring on the chills of excitement Paul!! Wow, I do remember this record in a way. Have definitely heard of it, but I can’t say I’ve heard it. Yes, I don’t understand it myself, but I am thoroughly intrigued. I love when you make me remember something I almost forgot about. This is going to be great. I can just tell.
Jeff
Think you will like it Jeff and these boys are from Jersey 🙂
Hehe yes, this was a fun record to make. The remix of Barbarella to me surpassed the official album version. We had a blast working with Richard Gottehrer on this, a classic producer who we admired.
All my best to all,
Richard Barone
