BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1984

“You Have” is a single by British singer/songwriter Marc Almond. “You Have” was taken from Almond’s debut solo album “Vermin in Ermine”. Produced by Mike Hedges who also produced The Cure, U2 and The Associates “You Have” debuted on the UK singles chart on January 9, 1984 peaking at #57.

The versions contained on this 12″ do not appear on the Marc Almond 10 CD Box set “Trials Of Eyliner”.

“The Boy Who Came Back” is the début solo single by the British singer/songwriter Marc Almond. “The Boy Who Came Back” is another winner from Marc Almond’s Vermin in Ermine album, with a more overtly rock & roll touch thanks to Richard Riley’s chugging guitar. Produced by Mike Hedges who also produced The Cure, U2 and The Associates “The Boy Who Came Back” debuted on the UK singles chart on June 2, 1984 peaking at #52.

The versions contained on this 12″ do not appear on the upcoming Marc Almond 10 CD Box set “Trials Of Eyliner”.

“Technology” is a 1983 synth-pop single by new wave band The Group. The single was produced by English musician producer Mike Hedges and singer/songwriter, musician and record producer Thomas Dolby. The Group release one album “I Hear I See I Learn” and several singles before disappearing into obscurity.

Even though released as a single in the U.S. “Technology” did not appear on the U.S. release of the bands album.
