Thanks for this Paul. Nicely replaces the crackly vinyl rip flac that I downloaded from SoulSeek.

This single was my introduction to a life long relationship with The Associates, Alan and Billy. I was completely knocked over, remember playing the b-side 18 times in a row. Still an amazing track!

Great sleeve again, too, I might add. But somebodies did not think it would be nice to give credits on the sleeves? Or is it that they always made the coversleeves themselves, and I am the only one who missed the memo?

So pleased to have another Associates single posted Paul. Great follow up to the Marc Almond single too. And it’s a Mike Hedges production. Great thinking on you part paying homage to a fantastic producer too. I’m so thankful to you for these excellent songs and/or versions. Fantastic!!

Wow Paul, not only had I never heard of this track before, but also I didn’t know The Associates had a Robert Smith connection! What an odd pairing, I wonder where they met?

What a fabulous treat. 🙂

The record company, Fiction. Who turned out not to be a very good record company. There was a recent Alan Rankine interview in Dangerous Minds that tells the story.

Love it. Thanks Paul. Billy’s voice was irreplaceable. No one can ever sound like him.
