Love this 12″ — the mix here is so 80”s — probably his best 12″ remix, so much better than the original. I’ve not played this for ages but this really brings back some fond high school memories of when I first started getting 12″ singles. I don’t recall ever hearing any version of this song on the radio. I had a friend who really liked Steve Winwood liked synth bands too like Howard Jones. Cool – I keep hoping the powers that be will put out some deluxe editions of Steve’s solo LPs (especially Back In The High Life). In the meantime, this is great!

Wowza…love his career! And a mix of Higher Love is like the cherry on top! Fred says it different so that’s cool, it certainly looks like the running time may be longer than what I have! Thanks for another fantastic post!!!

Thanks for the awesome post, Paul! This 12 inch and song is very underrated. The higher love remix is different than other higher love remixes with the same mix name. Listen carefully! Thanks so much again!!
