Hi, for those interested, the A-side here is a shorter version of the 12″ Mix (5:31) of Hitline appearing on the Music Re-action CD, and the B-side here has already been posted in 2016 as the B-side of the US 12″ of The Politics Of Dancing.
paul,
thanks for putting up an underrated track. hitline is a catchy tune,
and while not quite up to ‘the politics of dancing’, it’s still very good.
the b-side remix of ‘flex it’, is also a good synthpop track. very upbeat,
and rhythmic.
this is a good look at tracks from a band that was overlooked due to their
other hit.

Thank you for this nice single, I didn’t know they had other singles.
I accidentally arrived here looking for Blue Zoo – Love moves in strange ways https://www.discogs.com/Blue-Zoo-Love-Moves-In-Strange-Ways/master/299714
But I didn’t find any Blue Zoo here (?) Well maybe next time.
Thanks, Dave.
Xcellent choice, DJPaul, one of my favorite bands!
I’m with the others regard NEW WAVE posts, please keep them coming.
And thanks for this rare gem :-).
Hugo
BTW there is another version to this 12″ which doesn’t appear on Discogs database as a 12″ and it’s called “Hitline 12″ Mix” it’s 5:31 long. It’s similar to the Hitline original version from 1982.
(this 12″ mix appears on their Re-Fuse Boxset: https://www.discogs.com/Re-Flex-Re-Fuse/release/2470953)
A nice surprise to see this posted. I loved the last single you posted “Hurt” by Re-flex.
Cheers Paul 🙂
Thank you for this. I forgot about this song. Brings back a lot of memories.
Another Re-flex 12” version, very hard to find. Thank you, thank you, thank you soooo much, PaulT!
What can I say, I love this band. Thank you so much Paul!!!
You’re welcome Guss 🙂
Like Omar above, I just love New Wave!! And Paul, your choices are incredible as you do focus on not the same old, same old. I wish you were given a few radio hours on 1st Wave Radio, because you would impress and educate the masses with your fantastic selections and remixes!! Absolutely awesome, Paul!!
Have a great weekend and again, so happy you’re back!!
Jeff
