Queen – Friends Will Be Friends (UK 12″)

BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1986
A. Front

“Friends Will Be Friends” is a song performed by Queen and written by Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, included on the album A Kind of Magic. It was the band’s 30th single in the UK upon its release on 9 June 1986, reaching number 14 in the UK.

“Friends Will Be Friends” was performed live on The Magic Tour. It is remarkable that it was the first and only song that was sung at the end of concerts between “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions” since the News of the World Tour in 1977.

Great turn here Paul. I hope you get to Radio Ga Ga or I Want To Break Free at some point too. I just wish there were a ton of mixes for those. 🙂

Unless you are a vinyl afficionado, you do know Queen has released 12 inch collections?

It’s so cool discovering extended mixes of Queen’s output. Thanks Paul for this. How appropriate too as Adam Lambert will be touring with Queen this year. Adam is no Freddie Mercury, but he does handle the notes very, very well.

Enjoying this my friend.

Jeff
