Has DJ Paul or another other 80s pop fans heard Paul McCartney’s 2015 remix of Say Say Say. From his recent Pure McCartney album:

Nice and clean rip as always, Paulito. Thank you.

I do have the 12inch of course :-), together with 15 other Paul Young 12inches.
Pity that the NY 12″ omits the chorus, other than the NY 7″.

This is a very special post but I wish you had the 7″ edit of this. In Australia and Italy only, the 7″ single was an edited version of this mix, while all other markets got the vastly inferior album version. Consequently, when the best of comp “From Time to Time” came out in 1992, it was that album version which appeared, being the UK single. This remix has NEVER appeared on CD in any form as far as I know. Kudos for posting the 12″, it’s a fantastic track and it should have charted much higher than it did.

Thanks for the link. The uploaded 7″ remix sounds slightly distorted though.
Or maybe there´s something wrong with my ears 🙂

All the stuff on that spinning site is raw rips without any processing whatsoever so maybe that’s why it sounds a little rough. I just threw them all up there quickly for reference. I won’t be doing anything seriously again until I get new equipment probably next year. Thanks for listening to it anyway.

Great addition to your site Paul!! I’m so happy you re-ripped this one, especially because I love the remix talents of Steve Thompson & Michael Barbiero so much. I love going through your site clicking on the Remix Gods of the past for fabulous posts by some of my favorite artists. You do celebrate so much here Paul and I am thrilled to pieces.

Have a fantastic weekend Paul. You deserve it!!
