“Tattoo It On Me” was the third single taken from the debut album “Tattoo It” by Greek-American Hi-NRG singer Paul Lekakis released on Sire Records. The single was remixed by Shep Pettibone but failed to chart. Lekakis is best known for his 1987 smash hit “Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back to My Room)” .

Shep Pettibone mixes are always welcome. I have been busy compiling a Volume Two series for my own musical pleasure recently after the Dance Masters release in 2021.

Thank you so much for this, I’ve been waiting for a great quality version of these mixes. Tattoo It essential was my coming out album, I listen to this so much during the early to mid 90’s I still remember all the lyrics. This was my favorite track from the album and was disappointed there was no video made for it. Thanks for doing this one!!!

Seeing this image fill-up my screen brought back so many fond memories of this record. The 12-inch cover is so HOT that it was one of the reasons I purchased the record in the first place!! I know he’s primarily known for his “Boom Boom” record, but it’s this song and his “You Blow Me Away” that were my choice discs of his. So sad this record did not become a bigger hit than it did.
