I am just one of so many expressing appreciation for you time and efforts; all too often such kindness remains unacknowledged. I was an ‘industrial goth’ in the 1980s & collected the requisite Front242, Skinny Puppy, Depeche, et al., all while hiding my secret stashes of Communards, Razormaid and PSB (grin). This Nitzer Ebb vinyl was a favorite and you returned those memories to me in far better quality than commercial remastering studios might. – L. Nicholas

Join in the Chant – What a great track from the dancing days! I also loved the track Murderous by Nitzer Ebb (and also Let Your Body Learn).

Always interesting how it is even possible to make music which can create these kind of emotions……

Although I never enjoyed Nitzer Ebb, I found that their music sounded a bit like Jane’s Addiction (or vice versa). Thanks for the flashback and hard work, Paul!

Incredible Paul!!! Now we’re talking!! As a huge fan of Industrial/EBM music, I am really aroused now. This music gets my testosterone shooting like a rocket. I loved working out to music like this because it’s so aggro and stimulating. I so enjoyed chanting along to the lyrics as it made my muscles pump with extra blood, Nitzer Ebb made excellent tracks to sweat to and I’m so happy you’ve brought this out. It may be aggressive, but it’s such a fun record if one keeps an open mind. A Musical Steroid!!!

Breathless,

Jeff

I sometimes wonder if we had kindred childhoods, Paul. This is great stuff and music not many know about. I remember being very adverse to what I thought was industrial music back in the 80s. Then a late-night show on the otherwise pop/danceable radio station in Atlanta got me yelling to the lyrics which bopping to the beat of this ‘Industratial’ stuff. I later discovered I was at the start of the EBM movement and found this music being mixed in at local clubs which totally energized the crowd. Great stuff and a fabulous share – all in DJPaulT pristine… Read more »
