The Lost Boys is one of my all time favourite movies, and I Love the soundtrack,
“Beauty Has Her Way” by Mummy Calls, sounds fantastic, and it’s great hearing the extended version, this 12″ and the The Lost Boys album will get played a lot.
Aerosmith ft. Run DMC “Walk This Way” was in the film, but didn’t feature on the soundtrack.

Excellent post Paul for Halloween,

“I’m gonna have a good time tonight, Rock n’ Roll music gonna play all night”.

Motörhead’s Hellraiser (Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth), is another good song from a horror movie.

Wow Paul! What a fantastic song I discover right now! I also never heard about this band. And what to say about the remix. It’s absolutely awesome. Paul you’re just incredible. You made my day. Like Omar and RCDavies, I thank you a million times. Such a shame that the album is not available on CD, I surely would have purchased it.

Yeah, the only CDs you’ll find are vinyl rips (nowhere near the caliber of Paul’s). Don’t pay over the moon for any of them. Good quality digital is out there. Like this rip for instance. For late-period New Romantic and blue-eyed soul, they’re definite stand outs. The Facebook group is run by the friends of the band and are a wealth of knowledge. I’m sure the split was just from getting a royal shafting from Geffen.

A million thanks again, Paul!

I said thanks on Twitter, but I thought I would make it official. Thanks a million, Paul. I know quite a few Mummy Calls fans (yes, we do exist) that will have quite a fit when they see this 12″ turned digital. Sadly Geffen has never reissued any of their catalog on CD. The world’s loss!
