This should have done much better in 1984. Don’t recall this to be a big hit in Europe. Thanks for the quality rip Paul, but of course it’s Paulity every day…
Moroder and Faltermeyer. I’m into 80s movie soundtracks, big time. This is one of my favorites. Can’t go wrong here. Thank you!
Sorry for not being able to post everyday, but I try my best to catch up when time allows. This is another banging post, Paul But I have to admit…such a credit list and such a catchy song and remix. Yet not even Top 40?!? Plus this was the golden era for movie themes! Movie not a smash? Well, Dan Hartman managed to sneak out his biggest smash in the 80s from a B-movie too. I suppose this will have to be filed alongside Maria Vidal’s Body Rock as the shoulda woulda coulda been US hits! Thanks for reviving it… Read more »
Body Rock is so choice!
Love this track!
many thanks!

Great! I always wonted a better rip.
I have this 12″ in my collection.
It was a big hit back then by this one hit wonder and it still played frequently even today.
Thanks Paul!
Melissa Manchester is hardly a OHW. At the time of its release “Thief Of Hearts” was not the hit it was expected to be, having come off the heels of her own “You Should Hear How She Talks About” and Mododer’s previous soundtrack homerun “Flashdance…What A Feeling”.
I love this song, it has such a catchy chorus!
Thanks Paul for the rip!
You’re welcome Ezequiel 🙂
Thanks Paul. 🙂
You’re welcome Kent 🙂
I had never heard this song before, but I really like it– Thanks!
You’re welcome Doug 🙂
Nice call on this 12 Inch. The soundtrack for this movie is quite rare to come by. Thanks again!
Thank you 🙂
Great chance to hear another Jellybean Remix.
Wonder if you have a copy of Melissa Manchester’s “My boyfriend’s back” for a future post request? http://www.discogs.com/sell/item/202736727 .
Thanks again DJPaulT for sharing all these HQ vinyl rips!
You’re welcome Partytimeboy. I have a few of her single’s i’ll check to see if I have that one 🙂
Thank You Paul!!! Yes, thanks for making musical wishes come true. So many times I missed out on buying certain 12-inch discs because, well, to be honest, I didn’t have money to buy everything I wanted. This was sad because I almost wanted EVERYTHING that had a dance mix. I had almost forgotten about this gem, until now. Thanks Paul for giving me a second chance (so to speak) to “obtain” this song. You work miracles my friend. I am overjoyed!! Thank you for a fantastic week of postings Paul!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Jeff
