Hi DJ Paul T. First time commenting here. Thank you for an awesome website and the time you take to rip these classics from back in the day. You are a machine! It boggles the mind how you manage have or even find all these old records and then transfer them into a pristine digital format. Thank you for the time spent doing this and for your generosity in sharing your uploads with all of us. I’ve ripped many vinyls and know how time consuming this work can be. Especially if one is going to manually de-click them and present… Read more »

As you say only Break My Stride was a big hit here in the UK…and it was massive and brings back some quite specific memories when I hear it. I loved it at the time and so after I listened to this latest upload I did have to go back and play your rip of Break My Stride again as well!

I have to say Kids American couldn’t have got much airplay here as it really isn’t familiar to me.

Would be interested to hear Bouncing Off The Walls if you have it…

Thank you for the post always loved this song. I can remember HBO and other channels in the US playing this particularly around July 4 back in the 80s.

Only seven singles realeased. A shame, really. Known in Germany for Break My Stride only.
Kids American is quite weak, I think. Loved “Bouncin´ Off The Walls”, though. Don´t know whether
that was released as a 12inch back then. Paulito will know 🙂

Wow Paul!! Thank you so much for this wonderful rip. I love all the singles of Matthew Wilder’s 2 albums. It’s a shame he didn’t get much success. “Break my stride” belongs to my very favorite songs. It would be fantastic if you also could post “Bouncing off the walls”. I hope you had an unforgettable evening yesterday with the concert of Olivia in your own town. I wish you also a great weekend.

I really liked this single. However, in Europe it didn’t seem to reach as many record buyers as ‘Break My Stride’ did. Thanks for this post, specially for the pristine dub. Good job!

And did you enjoy ONJ yesterday?

Hey Paul, how was the Olivia show? Hope it was everything and more for you!!

So cool about this record. I can’t really say I remember it, but I love you going back and posting singles that may have escaped my consciousness. You always have the best tastes.

Hope you have a great weekend too!!
