Hi Paul, thanks. I have this 12″ and remember that the two parts of the dance mix play without a break. (The second part starts on the beat left off from the first part.) If you could post one file that contains these two parts with no break in between, that would be excellent.
Hi Ally the 12″ does have a very brief gap about 50 seconds. I always leave the singles the way they arte on vinyl.
Hi Paul, the gap isn’t 50 seconds, or even 5 seconds. Part 1 ends on beat one of a bar, you wait for beats two and three, and Part 2 starts on beat four. It makes for an extended version of over 8 minutes, with exactly two beats of silence. Give it another listen. 😉
This was a great song – looking forward to hearing your rip of the mixes. Thank you!
You’re back! Good to see you again Woz 🙂
I remember dancing to this like nobody’s watching so thank you very much for this post Dj PaulT. 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Thank you, Paul. Love this post! Great mixes and impeccable rip, as always.
My pleasure it’s nice to see your comment 🙂
Please don’t make us beg for TOY SOLDIER … lol … I know it’s super cheesy but it’s such a good song!
Sorry Synthpopper I don’t have that one 🙂
Love this song. I remember watching her in Kids Incorporated, she was stunning! Had a crush on her for years growing up! Thanks for the music Paul 🙂
You’re welcome Jason I remember watching that show too 🙂
Thanks Paul,
another great post with another great remixer (one of the best),
John “Jellybean” Benitez!
I’m hoping you post also (one day) “Who found who”
or Stacy Lattisaw “Jump into my life”.
Respect for your incredible work,
my life has changed since I’ve found You!
I am happy you are here BE.D12” 🙂
You elevate the mood of me Paul to such high levels!! Gosh, how I adore these postings. Thank you for filling out my music collection with only vinyl releases. You are stellar in choosing pop favorites that I wasn’t aware there was a 12-inch for. I appreciate you and your talent so very much. This is so excellent of you.
Jeff
Thank you Jeff 🙂
Thanks so much, Paul!!! I loved these mixes (and the song) back in the day!
You’re welcome Fred 🙂
