Hi DJPault! I thought the melody similar to a pop song “Coconut” by Dannii Minogue, which was probably in turn a cover version.
I’m digging your choices this week, DJP! Thanks, as always.
Thank you Mike 🙂
I’m listening to it now for the first time. Now I’m going to have the female ‘super dj’ part stuck in my head for the rest of the evening, hahaha. Thanks!
Embrace it Woz 🙂
😀 SUPER DJ 😀
Read more »
This was new for me too Paul, and I really liked it. I liked the A-side remix better than the studio B-side, but both are really fun. Anything with a vocoder gets me every time. I love the French language in contrast to the female chorus. I don’t know what he’s saying, however it makes the track compelling. I imagine hearing this back in the early eighties on a dance radio mix show. I know I would have been obsessed by its uniqueness and difference. Thanks for sharing an obscure one Paul. Way cool.
Jeff
You’re welcome Jeff I knew when I was working on this one that it might be a risk. I figured that nobody would have heard of it. Therefore it would not get downloaded much or commented on. But that’s ok I like culturing my readers with new things. I am happy to hear that you liked it 🙂
Never heard this before, really good disco track.
Thanks as always Paul, for the rip.. 🙂
You’re welcome Ex15 hopefully others will give it a try even if they are not familiar with it. It’s a fun tracks and discovering new things is what it’s all about 🙂
Considering that ‘Le Show’ featured the brother of Céline, Michel Dion, it’s not surprising that Ben Kaye is the producer here; he’s a longtime friend of René Angélil, husband of Céline. We have come full circle 🙂
This is a rare one Paul, thanks.
You’ere welcome Stefano 🙂
That is some super music knowledge right there, Stefano 🙂
