Hi DJ Paul T! Thank U! Great post! I remember buying this on vinyl in 1987. I hadn’t heard back from you but I did a mix of this on my YouTube channel MYOKOM Vault: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xCVJJdJhlw&feature=youtu.be – and am hoping I can help promote your website to my subscribers, and maybe you can tell some folks about my 80’s mixes – I do all genres & decades but would love to do mixes of the vinyl you share. Hope U R doing much better.
Hello Paul!
God bless your victorious return! May God continue to bless you always!
And thanks for the support always! I hope to see many posts here from Kraftwerk!
Thank you my friend!

Hope everything went well with your surgery and that you’ll stay healthy for years to come.
I own the reverse version so to speak: Der Telefon Anruf
… but it’s a bit battered being from a DJ crate.
Welcome back!
Hope that you are feeling healthy and happy.
You & the music were missed.

Hey, Bro. Paul T, thank you so very much for the Kraftwerk single. I hope that you are in much better HEALTH. People take it for granted far too much as WE really need to STOP THAT. It’s nothing to play with. GOOD HEALTH MEANS MORE THAN ANYTHING! IT IS ESSENTIAL AND PRICELESS! God bless you and yours. Take care. One. 🙂
Was für ein großartiger Beitrag, lieber Paul! What a great post, dear Paul! Nice to see you back with one of the greatest Kraftwerk-Tracks ever (behind “Computerlove”). Diesen Kevorkian-Mix (english version) habe ich lange gesucht! The vinyl restoration is amazing! Top song, top sound – as usual on this place – thank you very very much! Vielen vielen Dank! Grüße aus Deutschland and wish you well! H.

Thank you S.corpion 🙂
Hi, Paul,
welcome back. I see you’re off to a big bang.
One of my favorite groups. excellent job as always.
this version has now become the standard mix. (at
least the b-sides). house phone is on the
‘techno pop’ album, instead of the original album
version of the ‘telephone’ call. not sure why they
changed it.
The German 12 inch, has the long version of
‘der telephon anruf’, on it with a different cover too.
There are various uk/us 7 inch and 12 inch versions also.
so glad to see you back.
take care.

Thank you -1 I hope everything is getting better in your world. Thank you for all of the info 🙂
Hütter was always in conflict with Bartos so for the latest reissues he replaced the original version with the instrumental “House Phone”, this way he’s the only singer in the “final” album version. Bartos was also uncredited in “The Mix” even if he was a driving force in the whole production. But the more disgusting action against Bartos (and Flür) was the remotion from the cover artwork in the original “Tour De France” single when it was finally reissued in CD, in 1999. https://www.discogs.com/Kraftwerk-Tour-De-France/release/28077
Welcome back DjPaul!
Thank you BED12″ 🙂
Welcome back, Paul! Hope you are feeling better and sure hoped you were able to listen to some music during your recovery!
Thanks for the great post! I haven’t heard this song in ages. It reminds me of soooo many techno songs that launched onto the scene in 1991 and 1992.
Have a great weekend!

Thank you 🙂
My Oh My Paul! Welcome back and you return with vengeance! This is a beyond fabulous record to mark your return. I’ve always loved Kraftwerk because they were so influential with their music. It must have been hard for them coming up with new music because of the constant pressure to outdo themselves. I so appreciate all of their work and this single is no exception. Great rhythms, samples and melodies. Great tribute to the telephone, in a way. Nothing better to hear a human voice over the line, especially during these troubled times. Hope you are making a steady… Read more »
