Thanks Paul for the King, not seen this one before. I Live in Coventry, UK (home to The Specials, The Selecter & The Primitives amongst others) & had the pleasure of seeing these quite a few times before they made it big, I kissed the spikey fridge is a particular favourite of mine so good to see it on this release. I can say they were a great band live & got to play football with the band (minus Paul King) several times.
Well if “news” are being deleted. Than those I don’t need to read and write comments. They will get deleted anyway. Just making a point.
Not sure why you are making a big deal out of it. It’s my site and I chose to delete the post.
Why did you pull down the post when people wished you and your mom good recovery ?
This is nothing new. Paul usually does this with “news” posts.
I still thinks it’s a little bit off to remove it. IT brings an unexplainable gap of the posting timeline.
I would imagine it is to keep the music posts separate one after another?
MCD is correct I don’t like the site cluttered with “news” posts.
It gives gaps in the timeline.
Just wanted to point it out.
No more replies are wanted.
Thanks Paul! I absolutely love King!
You’re welcome 🙂
Welcome back Paul! I hope your mom is doing well after her tumble last month 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Welcome back and thanks for the post!! Hope your mom is doing better.
You’re welcome 🙂
Welcome back Paul! And what a great way to start posting again! Hope your Mom is doing better.
Thank you 🙂
Hey Paul. Great to see you back in the swing of things. Hope everything is ok for you and your mom. Take care.
Thank you 🙂
This 7 day thing on 24-bit FLAC is just no good. I’m only able to download occasionally. If you shop around and are willing to run your own server, you can get storage for a little as $5/TB.
Just go with the 16 bit. There really is no advantage in 24 bit for playback.
Paul, just wondering if you guys knew Paul King went on to be a VJ when MTV Europe first launched? He was realitely big in the early to mid 90s. I used to watch him every Sunday presenting 120 Minutes and interviewing obscure indie bands. I think he possibly had a financial stake in MTV/VH1, but I could be wrong. Then he pretty much vanished.
I had no idea he was an MTV Europe VJ thanks for schooling me on this bit of pop culture 🙂
Hope all is well with you and your mother Paul. x
And wow – while you were away I had myself a King Disco just this weekend, both albums full blast! So what a great surprise this is, and I love seeing the Japanese releases, as you know. This is a great single, thank you.
