I don’t think I knew the song yet. The entertaining 7 minutes are immediately audible and you have to sing along. I can’t get out of my ear anymore. The low position 67 in the USA is incomprehensible (in Germany it was not placed in the chart). Deserves better.
Thank you for this listening pleasure.

Thanks for this one! I love Kim Carnes, and Barking at Airplanes was a fantastic album. I’m not sure how I missed this 12″ single since I bought the 12″ single for “Crazy in the Night” (as well as the 12″ single of “Invitation to Dance,” which came out around this time), but I’m very glad to add this to my collection now.

That’s my favourite single by Kim Carnes, along with Bette Davis eyes. A real feel good song with a lovely tune. The remixes are awesome, especially the Red mix. Unfortunately these mixes were not included on the remastered CD re-edition from 2001. Thanks to you Paul we get them finally. Thanks a lot 🙂

For some reason, I always confused Kim Carnes with Bonnie Tyler. I had to dig into Carnes’ discography to re-familiarize myself with her music.

When I saw her releases for “Betty Davis Eyes” and the Kenny Rogers duet, “Don’t Fall In Love With A Dreamer,” I instantly remembered, “OH, (that) Kim Carnes!”

Thanks Paul, for keeping my mind from senility 🙂

Thanks Paul, I didn’t have this version in my collection. I’m a little surprised this wasn’t a
bigger hit, but then there were many hits in 1985. Thanks again for posting.

This so exciting for me Paul as I’ve never heard the dance mix before. Thanks a lot for giving this record a spin and letting us enjoy it in your special quality!!!
