Always loved this song and 12”. But have no idea where I buried it. Thanks for giving it the Paul treatment!
New one on me too, but I’ll take all the Coconuts I can. 🙂
This song it totally new to me – can’t wait to have a listen. Thanks!
Nice stuff, I’ve never even heard this version before!
Hoping for either or both 12″s of “There’s Something Wrong In Paradise”…
Super!
Would you also happen to have ‘Endicott’ 12-inch single?
Thankyou!

Amazing track and unforgettable movie, thank you.
You’re welcome Charly 🙂
I knew it! Paul, you have such broad taste and if not for yourself, you are enabling enjoyments for the wellbeing of others 😉
Thank you very much. Kid Creole is a league on his own. Great performer, musician, writer and producer. Have a lot of his work on vinyl from my teens and you managed to provide one of the missing pieces. Again. I was not happy today, but you let the silver lining spark on the cloud above my head.
You are very welcome Dirk I had fun working on this one 🙂
OMG Paul! I remember requesting this particular song. Extremely popular in the Philippines in the early 80s. Brought back a lot of memories. Thank You very much! Stay safe.
Sometimes it takes a while Gilbert I’m just glad I was able to post it 🙂
I was always surprised this wasn’t a bigger hit; I remember there being a big push on the single when it came out. Thanks for sharing!
It was a surprise for me too VanceMan underrated for sure.
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
This might be the only known reward of peer pressure? Thanks ever so much!
Wait, you were probably already gonna post this one. Clever.
Lol yeah I had this one plabbed for a future post and you guys asked for it so here it is 🙂
Oooh, I’m gonna play your rip to The Coconut’s “If I Only Had A Brain.” Nice double-shot for Thursday!!
Jeff
Have fun Keff 🙂
Have fun Jeff 🙂
Ooh, this is neat Paul. As a long time fan of Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band, I got to know Kid Creole & The Coconuts because of August Darnell. I really enjoy this band’s sound and dance rhythms. And you flat-out amaze me since this was requested just yesterday. You always come through with the requests. Great follow up to yesterday’s awesome post!!! It sounds like Summer here on Burning The Ground for sure!!!
Jeff
I just happened to have this one pulled for a future releas. Then out of the blue a request for it so it got posted sooner 🙂
