Fantastic track… Totally overlooked… One of his greatest 🙂 Got to Number #90 in the UK. Truly shocking. Thanks for posting 😉
Surprised nobody’s mentioned Joni and Seal’s equally beautiful cover…

a wish come true. You’re a true star thx…
Hi Paul,
Unfortunately this is only Part 1, but I’m sure you may see the funny side.
My favourite bit (image of james brown) is him in the studio as Maceo Parker [?] describe
how they ‘wrote’ songs.
With Mr JB screamin ‘on th’ one’ and that kind thing with MP ‘interpreting’ and writing
down JB’s ‘noises’ and what they meant ‘musically’ ie He ‘WAS’ the funk !

I don’t know this one. Gonna give it a listen. Thanks!
You’re welcome woz. I think you will really enjoy it. Great lyrics for both tracks.
Oh man, I love this song! I had never known it before and now I can’t stop listening to it. Maybe my favorite post of yours this year!
I knew you would like it Woz. I am so surprised that this didn’t get more commnts. Maybe just because it’s not well known. I’m happy that you liked it.
Yeah, I hope the amount of comments doesn’t equal the amount of downloads because that means a lot of people are missing a good tune!
