Ahhhh…. thank you so much! One of my favorite artists. It was great to see this appear on your site – and in 24-bit FLAC to boot!!

Just had to follow up with you Paul about this single. Man, what a song and what an all-out remix haul!! I’d love to know the hours of labor that went its production. And Paul, all the work you must have spent on it too. I marvel at all the work you set aside to bring out the best from your vinyl. It is truly a miraculous gift you have with all your patience and the talents you’ve accumulated over the years doing this INTENSE labor of love. Gosh, I relish these records with all the new surprises. And thanks… Read more »

Hi Jeff, when I listened to the ‘instrumental’ version this morning, I noticed this had more sounds not included in the ‘fields’ remix. They must have been having great fun working on this in the studio and thought they would take unused material and create the ‘instrumental’. Cheers.

Hi Anthony, you are absolutely right about the instrumental. I love the flip-sides almost as most (if not more) than the A-sides sometimes. Reading your description, I was so pumped about the record. And Paul really brought out all those intricacies. After reading about Howard Jones, I was so excited to seek out the box set with the remixes, but alas, I don’t think they’re available anymore. I feel awful missing out. But, at least our wonderful Paul, has blessed us with beautiful rips of some of Mr. Jones’ remix discography. What a place Paul has made. And I’m excited… Read more »

One of Howard Jones’ finest songs is No-One Is To Blame.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Thank you so very much. This is by far the best HoJo remix (on par with The Prisoner!!!).

This needs to be played loud as all of the sound effects dance all over the place.

Do I see a trend for some re-rips happening (he says with crossed fingers). If so I have a list I could send you lol. Thanks Paul we all love the work and passion you put into this blog 🙂

I always thought this was a very underated single for Howard, he’d simply fell out of fashion in the UK by this point. They must’ve blown a fortune on the video (quite ‘Take On Me’, ISTR) and the UK sleeve was far more exciting than this US version (basically a screengrab from the video, but had a lot of energy).

I bought it on gatefold 7″ when it came out. Look forward to hearing it again. 🙂

After reveling in the aural bliss of yesterday’s post and reading all the comments, I was so excited to see this, after all the positive comments Paul. Oh wow, this is tremendous of you. I can’t wait to dive in with both ears and bathe in the sweat that this track will evidently produce!! I am truly aroused right now. I can’t wait to hear the edits!! Very, very C-C-C-COOL!!

Your Rock DjPaulT!!!
