As a BIG fan of Miami Vice, I must say THANK YOU VERY MUCH Paul!!!! IMHO, this is the best song of Miami Vice, the lyrics are just amazing! Gleen appeared on “Smuggler’s Blues” episode. It is the fifteenth episode of Miami Vice’s first season. The episode premiered on February 1, 1985 and repeated on May 17, 1985 and August 23, 1985. http://miamivice.wikia.com/wiki/Smuggler%27s_Blues Glenn made his acting debut as Jimmy Cole, who provides transport for smugglers (and loves his guitar) in the episode “Smuggler’s Blues” of the series Miami Vice. He also performed the songs “Smuggler’s Blues” (in the episode… Read more »

I must admit, I watched all episodes of Miami Vice, the series was considered pretty cool back then and was always filled with great music. Glenns splendid song fits perfect into the TV show. Although he made some neat songs in his solo career, nothing comes close to the legendary Hotel California…

Hey Paul, it’s so nice to have a double dose of Glenn Frey. Man, that 12-inch from yesterday was such a welcome surprise. Thanks for today’s posting as well. I really liked Glenn’s solo stuff. Too bad that there weren’t many dance versions in his back catalog. Still, this doesn’t mean that I don’t love what’s already out there. Tremendous stuff as always.

Have a very special weekend Paul. I’ll be thinking about you!!
