Thank you very much Paul.
Thanks Paul. 🙂
Never heard of them to be honest…
This 12″ is great and I just picked up all their albums on my favourite tracker, one of them in 24bit.
This is why I love burning the ground ! Come for a 12″ stay for a discography !
Love the extended version, a slightly leaner production and more open sound. Thank you!
Thank you Paul. So many great memories lately. I owned all 12″ from that album, and the albun, too.
Never heard about them but it’s a cool song. I loved it. Thanks DJ Paul!
Super fantastic, Paul!! This song is so rarely found anywhere!
This video…the lead singer has the mannerisms of the then-young Patrick Dempsey…especially in Can’t Buy Me Love and Loverboy.
Thanks again! Such a treat!!!
You are very welcome Fred 🙂
Bly me they still exist and tour. This live version of “Someday” is from July of this year!
Alan Frew still sounds awesome. I´m struck speechless (well… just about).

Yep they are still around and sound great 🙂
Now THAT´s a real blessing from the past. “Don´t forget me when I´m gone” was a much bigger hit over here but I prefered “Someday” by far. A great song with a great 12 mix with a lovely break edit which should be to Jeff´s liking :-). I do have the twelve inch with a different sleeve but cannot for the life of me remember the dub mix. That´ll be exciting to hear. Glass Tiger had another great single and 12inch off that album: the title track “Thin Red Line” with a “really red” and a “rather red” remix 🙂… Read more »
You will indeed be able to hear “Thin Red Line” Song_and_Dace I know I have it and maybe one but will check on that 🙂
You were right about me liking the edits here Song_And_Dance! I was so excited to here a little bit of cut and splice. All editing doesn’t have to be machine gun mania. Sometimes, all it takes is a few tasteful cuts to make an impression. Thanks, as always for thinking of me.
Jeff
Thanks Paul. I love Glass Tiger. This single and these remixes are awesome. If I’m not wrong, the Dub Mix has never appeared on CD.
You’re welcome Daniel 🙂
There are many reasons why I love your site Paul and this is one of them. You are generously sharing pop hits that have had remixes made of them. Too many songs are lost to time, including the 12-inch mix. Well, thank you for rescuing them from oblivion. And there’s a lot I’ve missed myself so it’s been a great experience for me to hear them. You are so irreplaceable to fan’s who love music and alternative mixes of their favorite songs. You just make our lives so much more…..musical!!
Jeff
Thank you Jeff 🙂
Paul, my hat is tipped once again. Thanks for introducing me to this dance mix. I love the edits here and the dub is wonderful. I love dubs that have a lot of the vocals in it. Incredible. And the sound is stellar, like always. Man, I can’t imagine music without you Paul in that you really care about the final product that’s presented. Again, you have me swooning because of the mixes and the fidelity. I just love and adore you so very much.
Jeff
