Unbelievable the 1987 remix version is a classic. Is there any difference between this and the white cover Cars 1987? thanx very much for posting this Paul. 🙂

Great to see Numan here. Have this on 7″ and 12″ in this 1987 guise. Have about 20 mixes of this song infact. Seing Gary next month for the 45 time. New album sounds fantastic i advise all to purchase! More Numan please. Do you have any Radio heart feat Gary Numan? Or Sharpe and Numan?

I second that.. more Numan please. Paul posted a Share and Numan promo a while ago. Have a look at the left, “search by artist”>Gary Numan. Link still works!

Thx Paul!

Great post Paul, always love the layers of synth sounds on Gary Numan records, and those futuristic lyrics. These days Gary’s style has changed, more darker, yet i really admire his new material, and still love his earlier works. When I’ve watched interviews with Numan, he always down to earth and quite humble about his career and life, and it’s enjoyable to see Gary’s enthusiasm for new music and his move to LA. Duran Duran have many fantastic visual videos of their work, Gary Numan is another great artist visually. Fingers crossed there will be another Numan post, my other… Read more »

Your pushing the medal to my metal Paul!! This is definitely a New Wave staple and one of my favorite jams. And it’s so cool that Zeus B. Held did the remix as I adored his work with Dead Or Alive. Very cool information concerning this mix; I think I do own it, at least in some form from a remix service. Too cool. You’re revving up the week, that’s for sure. You really are our musical Angel!! I can’t thank you enough for all these musical treasures!!
