I realize the download is no longer available, but I’m pretty sure this is 1987 instead of 1986, especially with the whole Some Kind Of Wonderful tie-in. (Only saying so in case you’re interested because I doubt anyone else will see it.)

People who disregard the 12-inch remix really should check out material such as this release. I first played the LP version before getting to the remix. I was blown away. There was so much thought to a remix, especially in the 80’s. You always knew it was the song you had on the album, but they did so much to it to bring out so much more and to experiment with the music and production. Now, this was new for me. Yes, I heard of the band, but I missed out on their records the first time. Thanks Paul for… Read more »

Paul,

Another Alternative Radio classic! I have this on a couple of CD compilations, but they’re definitely ripped from vinyl (worn record or dull needle…too much sibilance on the S’s always gives that away).
Nice to have a delicious, clean rip to add to my MP3 player.

Cheers!

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Nick Marsh. I Go Crazy was a special song for me back in the late 80’s. I had this 12″ and played it hundreds of times. Thank you so much for putting this one up.

First saw these live in 1985. They were beyond amazing it was the most mental gig I had ever been to. Saw them quite a few times in their first period, caught them at a fan club gig in my hometown which to me remains the best ever gig I’ve been to. Gutted I never got to see Nick’s new Flesh For Lulu this time around, the news of his passing has saddened me as a lot of my circle of friends knew him personally & are deeply affected by the loss. RiP Nick, thanks for the fantastic music &… Read more »

Didn’t realise he was ill. :-/ I wanted his painted leather jacket from the Siamese Twist video sooooo much. (This was last year, not 1987)

I would like to add that too – postcards from Paradise 12 inch would be great. I have the extended and album version but the dub remains…
