Love the Fad Gadget period of Frank Tovey’s too-short career! Thanks so much for posting.

I’ve always heard the name but didn’t really hear anything until, “Lady Shave.” Karen and I are always quoting the song: “You don’t have to shave it, shave it, shave it!” I’m all for “man-scaping”, but I really do love this tune. Paul, so excited to have a rarity (and another song to boot besides)from you. Like Walter C states up above: “…there are always some surprises in a vinyl rip from DjPaulT!” You’re always amazing Paul. I so love the depths your music collection has. It’s so educational and has the best songs showcased. I love all your surprises… Read more »

A godlike creature for depeche mode fans. It was to great to see him accompanying depeche on their 2001/2002 Exciter tour. It really rounded things up after dM accompanied him back then in the dark distant ages. He was one of the few peoüle giving dM a chance. What a shock when he suddenly dies!

An icon. Unknown to many, he was one of the artists who, since the creation of MUTE, shaped what we know today as classic synthpop. I have all his CDs, but I just downloaded it because there are always some surprises in a vinyl rip from DjPaulT!
