Hello Paul! Love this! Can you re-up this song version please… The 12″ Mix. Thank you.
Hi Paul, can you re-up this one please? Cheers from México
Hope you are feeling better, Paul, and hope you can re-up this one when you are back in the swing. Cheers!
Fingers crossed 🤞🏾
Hello Paul, loving the site! don’t suppose you could re-up this one could you please?
Thank you!
Thank you very much Paul
I’ve been meaning to thank you almost all month for this. I’ve cherished a prior, inferior upload of this for years, but there’s an atrocious skip on the single mix. Imagine my surprise, then, to find that isn’t the single mix from this release at all! It opens cold and runs thirteen seconds longer, and I’d never have been the wiser if not for you.
I used to have this single so it will be great to hear this material again. Thanks for posting. Do you have the extended mix of Killing Moon by any chance? I was never able to find that one during my collecting days.
Thank you so much for this, DjPaulT! One of my favorite bands, and I didn’t know a remix of this existed. Thanks again!
Ahh, François Kevorkian, the one who brought indie-pop to our dancefloors. Tom Moulton is big, Jellybean is popular, but this man changed the complete vibe of songs to 4-to-da-floor-disco and still maintained credibility in the new wave-and-such-scenes over here (NL).
Thank you Paul! This was probably among my top five 12″es I’d hoped you’d post. The extended remix is hard to come by on CD, but is one of my favorite remixes.
Thank you paul!!! Gran cancion.
Thanks so much for posting this. I’ve never understood why this group wasn’t appreciated here in the states. This is one of my favorites of theirs, as is Bring on the Dancing Horses.
Excellent choice Paul! One heck of a good piece of Vinyl but hey you always manage to pick them right! The quality is excellent but I most say that your mix of styles is even more impressive!
Thank you Magnus I appreciate you 🙂
This was indeed a great single. Pity it wasn’t a bigger hit single.
Thanks Paul 🙂
I know I always thought it was a bigger hit. The song has such a great melody and hook. Enjoy Junior 🙂
Wasn’t particular into Echo, but was always listening to a local radio station which played all kinda “alternative” stuff thru the 80s & 90s, even before they became big in the UK or US. Also the 12″ mixes, all the time, they just had everything. It was such an interesting time to listen to the radio.
Great mixing by François on this one, what a full and fat sound from this 12″! The song, the mix, it sounds so…80s. LOL
I alwys liked Echo they had great lyrics and cool style. The 80s were indeed a great time for radio 🙂
Many thanks Paul!!!
The Killing Moon, another great song!
You’re welcome Gonzalo76. “Killing Moon” is probably my favorite from Ech 🙂
Great selection Paul. Grateful for a great rip of the Dub on this one.
Thank you Thomas 🙂
Love it! Can’t get enough of the 80’s alternative music remixes.
Thank you Alan A. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for this! The single version has slightly different vocals than the LP, too! Any chance the bedbugs and ballyhoo remix might pop up soon to? 🙂
I think I have that one in a storage box Derek I will check 🙂
Thanks for this one, Paul! Most welcome 🙂
you’re welcome Micmij 🙂
Great single . Thanks Paul. My favorite by them was People are Strange.
That’s a good one Omar. Too bad no extended version was made 🙂
You can’t go wrong with this one. It’s a beautiful song. Thanks!
You’re welcome Woz 🙂
Still off the rush of Friday’s Soft Cell single, you bring out this incredible song by Echo & The Bunnymen. Wow Paul, I feel this is gonna be one heck of a week on Burning The Ground! I can’t wait to hear the dub mix, as this will be new to me. I am in a state of extreme pleasure. Thanks a ton!!
Jeff
You’re welcome Jeff 🙂
