Paul, don’t know if you were aware but Donny is in the UK at the mo…appearing live on BBC1 TV as I type this…
A Donny Osmond series…How you just made my day. Donny Osmond gave a superb interview to Rolling Stone after Michael Jackson’s death. It’s very informative. I’m sure you can find it online if anyone’s interested. They had quite an understanding of each other and I don’t think Osmond would have traded places at all. While longevity & status are wonderful, the scrutiny, speculation, and dyind so young were not fair trade-offs. Hi Paul.
Thanks for this. Few mentions of Soldier of Love in the comments I see…so how about a re-up of that next?
Hi Ian,
I am planning on doing a Donny Osmond series here in a few weeks so I will re-rip that one then. Cheers 🙂
Thank you DJ Paul. I’ve been looking for this version for an eternity! Jennifer Rush also recorded this for her 1992 S/T album.
You’re welcome Idesdemars 🙂
Happy Monday, Paul!
I only have the shorter version on a Virgin compilation. Thanks for the full length!
I wonder how he felt back in the 80s when fellow 70s child star/teen heart-throb Michael Jackson catapulted to MEGA stardom and he was deemed as uncool. At least he redeemed himself somewhat with Soldier Of Love.
I think he managed to have a nice comeback with the “Donny Osmond” and “Eyes Don’t Lie” albums in the late 80’s. I’m sure was happy with that.
Never heard this one before. Still like Soilder of Love from him.
Enjoy!!
Thank you dear Paul!
You’re welcome Spring 🙂
Excellent song. If by any chance you have the remixes for “IF IT’S LOVE THAT YOU WANT”, please, make them available here.
Thanx for this gem…
You’re welcome Juliano! You never know what will appear on BTG 🙂
