I have this single too, can’t wait to hear your pristine recording.
Thanks Paul 🙂
This one I like big time 😉 Someone mentioned smoldering earlier? For loud music this one is 🙂
Thank you DjPaul for these Dalbello 12” Singles!
I’ve been a fan of hers ever since her first hit “Pretty Girls” in 1979. Years later she transformed her look & sound and released her BEST album WhoManFourSays in 1984.
(I’m wondering if you have the extended version of “Gonna Get Close To You”)
I recall meeting Lisa Dalbello once while I was working in a Toronto hair salon in 1987.
She was incognito but I instantly recognized her by her eyebrows! LOL
I remember Melissa Manchester covered “Pretty Girls” and it was a minor hit in the US. Thank you for sharing your story with us 🙂
Forgot to mention these are the only two singles I have of hers at the moment.
Awesome!! One can ALWAYS count on you Paul for musical education!! I am so elated that you have more of Dalbello’s discography. How can I come up with enough praise for all that you do? Hey, even if I repeat myself, I just can’t help it. It is so worth repeating until the end of time. You rock so much DjPaulT with everything you do. Kudos upon kudos for you!!
In intense gratitude,
Jeff
Thank you Jeff. You can repeat yourself as many times as you like. Hope that you find this one to be a fun listen 🙂

2. Lotus Eaters – You Don’t Need Someone New (Ext.)
3. Boom Boom Room – Take Your Time (Ext.)
