Aaaahhhh… Nice to have some Acid House this morning! Now straight to “Voodoo Ray” and then “Can You Feel It”!
Thank you Very Much Paul for your existence!
Additional thanks for bringing this 12-inch single back from oblivion. Gosh Paul, it’s like my record collection is coming back from the dead. Karen and I loved this record with the very cool samples and creativity. Dance music always was ahead of the sounds and trends. I remember a mix-tape I made that had this song on it, along with “Theme from ‘S-express”, the fist megamix from the Rhythm Stick remix service, selections by Telex, like “Spike Jones”, “Temporary Chicken” and “Peanuts.” I was obsessed with edits, samples, weird dance mixes and mega-mixes. Cheers Paul, Another Exellent Post
Samantha Fox “Love House” was another great track that came out in 1989 and had cool samples throught the song, similar genre to Coldcut.
A cool time for music and Keyboards!
I have the cd single already with some of these mixes, but I am looking forward to hearing your warmer sounding rips.
Thanks Paul 🙂
Here is is, but the cd single does not have the 7 inch version though (which is on two best of editions though)

Thanks again for all the vinyls. According to my library this one is also out there on cd single with same tracks.
“How cold can coldcuts get?” Man, Paul, another of one of my favorite records. I was so into these sample-based creations and Coldcut was an amazing duo!! AND!!! Again, you’ve given me versions I’m not quite sure I’m familiar with. This is so excellent of you!! I am LIVING right now!! Oh how I eagerly await for your daily presentation of fantastic 12-inch singles. You constantly surprise me. It’s like the perfect record collection coming to fruition. You really overwhelm me with your talents, tastes and tremendous technical skills!! What you do can never be repaid, but please know how… Read more »
You’re very welcome Jeff. I am not sure but I think some of the mixes or maybe all are exclusive to this release. 🙂
The most elusive version is the “theftapella” which for some reasons is only on the 7″ version and I never could find a clean version of. those paper thin 7″ pressed were scratched straight out of the sleeve.:(
